LEADERS ON FIRE LAST SATURDAY

college students organised a party at leaders club on last saturday, many attended and I was among the maltitude, we really had fun till almost dawn and thank God nothing violent happened.
A good number of East Africa artists were there to make the party even hotter. to mention just few of them, Nameless, Lenny, Prezzo, AY, FA, and Nurrah were there.
just every artist who happened to get on stage made a different and significant flavor but when AY attacked the stage every body shouted and got electicated, after his performance nothing was said than "the guy is the best" and I almost said the same thing.
one thing that made the night tasted a bit sour was transport to get us back to our hostel which became difficult and came too late. I just advice the organiser to prevent this situation from occuring next time.
all in all, nothing is ever perfect, i convey all thanks to the organisers, keep it up!!!!
it's me, Emmanuel Temu(emmino) .

LECTURE ROOMS ARE SO CROWDED IN OUR COLLEGES!!

I dont know what actions are taken by our beloved government on how to solve this mess.......Students are so crowded in the lecture rooms.....this is a sample of some of the students that were following a certain lecture there at the hill!!

Nadhani government inataka tu ijisifie kuwa tumeadmit so many students for higher learning...but for sure facilities are very poor....small lecture rooms but quite a large number of students..it is very boring friend....!!
Nadhani inabidi zijengwe lecture rooms kubwa zaidi na sio kupunguza admission sababu bado tunataka watanzania wengi zaidi wasome....sababu knoweldge is power!!

UKIPITA KATIKA COLLEGE NYINGI HAPA DAR ES SAALAM UNAWEZA UKADHANI UKO KARIAKOO MARKET!!....ITS BETTER BEING AT KARIAKOO RATHER THAN BEING IN SUCH A CROWDED CLASS!!

STUDENTS AT THE HILL WAITING FOR THE LECTURE!!

TEACHERS' STRIKE TOOK A SNAIL'S PACE

Opting a new face and rather a go-slow style of the strike has been a proper solution for the teachers, at least for the present.
After a stormy meeting which ended prematurely as a result of calling off the strike announcement made by the president of the teachers’ union, Teachers all over Tanzania have decided to hold their anger a little down.
This doesn’t say teachers are in the class room teaching, NO! They have just decided to choose this situation to prevent further worsening of the situation, I call them polite people. But they aren’t teaching.
As far as the profession is concerned, Teaching is so vital, and if we really want to develop in all aspects, we should all keep our two eyes wide open to them. Because if holders of this profession are in trouble then all the economy is in trouble, and we shouldn’t expect any development to speed up. Seeing teachers fighting for their right physically is not an easy scene, and it basically shows they cant hold any more, they are badly oppressed. THERE IS NO GOOD ECONOMY WITHOUT TEACHERS
Considering this situation which is prevailing now and referencing many others associated with this which happened lately, I can conclusively say Tanzania is no longer the old calm Nation we used to know in those days. It is taking a new course which holds no future for its inhabitants
We used to see students and small business people(wamachinga) stricking, now even teachers!!!! No joke man
It seems nothing is ok in this nation anymore, from the class to the markets, everyone is now feeling a painful pinch caused by the poor administration of the counry and poor accountability of the government officials, famously known as UFISADI.
Many have been said about this brutal attitude of the leaders towards National resources. Even the founder of the Nation, Late Nyerere whom we are remembering his death in this week cursed this dirty attitude in a number of meetings, that entertaining UFISADI will lead to serious trouble of the nation which is now clearly revealed in the present.
I’m not in a position to conclude, I invite all as intellectuals to throw your comment on this topic particularly on how to alleviate this problem.
Me and only……………. Emmanuel Temu(emmino).

DREADFUL MISALLOCATION

First year students (new comers) all over Tanzania have now effectively began their studies after a week of orientation and familiarization. They really look novice, new and still need a lot of concern to cope up.
Unlike other new college comers, 2008/09 are facing exhausting and adversely pressing situation. What they initially and illusively believed as delicious boom and good-keeping allowance has suddenly been divided into two substational pieces, one of them snatched by college administrations and the other one halved once more and then given to them, now they are left with almost nothing than just a shadow of boom.Oooh! This is unbelievable.
I don’t think they even spent a moment thinking about students’ welfare and much less considering that first years are still naive to the environment; surely I can call this, a silent crime or dreadful misallocation.
But any way, at times things occur just to trigger an event to happen, and I absolutely believe this is set to serve the same purpose, and that purpose is so obvious and calling on………long, breath taking, heart breaking, extremely shaking boycott which as a matter of fact is at hand. So I call upon all first year students wherever they are to calm down, wait and see how much your brothers and sisters are concerned and care about you.
I choose this last paragraph to encourage all new comers to keep on keeping on to what you believe in, and here to accomplish, despite the fact, roads at first may seem all uphill, because that is the very central reason of your being here.
It’s me Emmanuel Temu(emmino).

E BWANA KUFOJISHA VYETI MPAKA CHUO KIKUU!!

MAKULILO Jr,

FOR THOSE WITH AN AMERICAN DREAM!!

GREEN CARD LOTTERY)
DV-2010 Lottery Starts Today
The DV-2010 Lottery online entry begins at Noon EDT on October 2, 2008, and ends at Noon EST on December 1, 2008. The English version of the
DV-2010 Lottery Instructions is available in PDF format for your convenience. The Press Release for the 2010 Diversity Visa Lottery Registration is now available.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 2010 DIVERSITY IMMIGRANT VISA PROGRAM (DV-2010)

The congressionally mandated Diversity Immigrant Visa Program is administered on an annual basis by the Department of State and conducted under the terms of Section 203(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Section 131 of the Immigration Act of 1990 (Pub. L. 101-649) amended INA 203 and provides for a class of immigrants known as “diversity immigrants.” Section 203(c) of the INA provides a maximum of 55,000 Diversity Visas (DV) each fiscal year to be made available to persons from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States.

The annual DV program makes visas available to persons meeting the simple, but strict, eligibility requirements. A computer-generated, random lottery drawing chooses selectees for diversity visas. The visas are distributed among six geographic regions, with a greater number of visas going to regions with lower rates of immigration, and with no visas going to nationals of countries sending more than 50,000 immigrants to the U.S. over the period of the past five years. Within each region, no single country may receive more than seven percent of the available Diversity Visas in any one year.

DIVERSITY VISA REGISTRATION PERIOD

Entries for the DV-2010 Diversity Visa lottery must be submitted electronically between noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), Thursday, October 2, 2008, and noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST) (GMT-5), Monday, December 1, 2008. Applicants may access the electronic Diversity

Visa entry form (E-DV) at
www.dvlottery.state.gov during the registration period. Paper entries will not be accepted. Applicants are strongly encouraged not to wait until the last week of the registration period to enter. Heavy demand may result in website delays. No entries will be accepted after noon, EST, on December 1, 2008.

Important Notice

No fee is charged for the electronic lottery entry in the annual DV program. The U.S. Government employs no outside consultants or private services to operate the DV program. Any intermediaries or others who offer assistance to prepare DV entries do so without the authority or consent of the U.S. Government. Use of any outside intermediary or assistance to prepare a DV entry is entirely at the entrant’s discretion. A qualified electronic entry submitted directly by an applicant has an equal chance of being selected by the computer at the Kentucky Consular Center as does an electronic entry received during the lottery registration period will have an equal random chance of being selected within its region. However, receipt of more than one entry per person will disqualify the person from registration, regardless of the source of the entry.

Francis Philip
